Oropi School is a co-educational school for children aged 5 – 12 (years 1-8) that is located in a semi-rural setting 12km from Tauranga’s city centre.
Oropi School offers a wide range of educational opportunities and programmes with the aim to broaden all children’s educational experiences. Oropi School prides itself on being able to cater for each student’s individual needs and fosters a strong culture of inclusiveness, where children are respected as an individual but feel part of a team, where they can interact with children across all year levels (ages 5-12). Senior students help foster this sense of togetherness through their leadership programme and interaction with the junior and middle school.
Oropi School offers a diverse range of resources and learning opportunities in excellent facilities and offers a range of programmes outside the classroom. These include: swimming, instrumental and vocal music tuition, Mandarin language learning, Maori language learning, summer and winter sports, leadership opportunities and more.
